Jurnal Kajian Pariwisata dan Bisnis Perhotelan first published in April 2020 is a means of scientific publication in the field of tourism management and hotel business as well as travel services. This journal is managed by the Hospitality Management Study Program, the Department of Tourism, FPP UNP.

On May 8, 2020, Jurnal Kajian Pariwisata dan Bisnis Perhotelan Obtained an E-ISSN with number 2722-0729 from the Indonesian ISSN National Center.

Initially, Jurnal Kajian Pariwisata dan Bisnis Perhotelan aimed to publish articles produced by Universitas Negeri Padang students, especially students of the D4 Hospitality Management Study Program, but for progress and improvement of the quality of the Journal in Volume 2 No1 in 2021, Jurnal Kajian Pariwisata dan Bisnis Perhotelan began to publish scientific papers from outside Universitas Negeri Padang
